MNASE Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy

At MNASE, we value our members, athletes, and supporters. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we strive to provide a fair and transparent policy for refunds, returns, and exchanges. Please review the following policy carefully before registering for programs, events, or making purchases.

1. Program & Event Registration Refunds and Credits

When registering for MNASE programs, leagues, events, or camps, the following refund and credit terms apply:

• Cancellation Within 7 Days of Registration: Members will receive a 95% refund of the registration fee to the original payment method.

• Cancellation Within 14 Days of Registration: Members will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee to the original payment method.

• Cancellation Before the Program, Event, or Activity Begins (after 14 days): Members are eligible to receive a 90% credit of the registration fee, which can be applied toward any future MNASE program, event, or activity.

• After a Program, Event, or Activity Has Begun: No refunds or credits will be issued once participation has started, except in cases of program cancellation by MNASE (see Section 4).

2. Apparel Return and Exchange Policy

MNASE apparel is designed for both team identity and personal pride. To ensure fairness and quality, the following policies apply:

• Custom Apparel (including jerseys, personalized gear, and made-to-order items):
  All sales are final. These items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

• Non-Custom Apparel (standard league or MNASE-branded apparel):

  • Items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of purchase if unused, unworn, and in original condition with tags intact.

  • Eligible returns will receive either:

    • A 95% refund to the original payment method, OR

    • A 100% credit to be applied toward future MNASE purchases, programs, or events.

• After 14 Days:
  No refunds will be issued. Exchanges may only be approved at MNASE’s discretion, with credit options available.

3. Equipment and Merchandise Policy

For non-apparel MNASE merchandise (training equipment, basketballs, gear, or accessories):

• Items may be returned within 14 days of purchase if unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

• Refund options include:

  • 95% refund to the original payment method, OR

  • 100% credit toward future MNASE purchases or registrations.

• Used, damaged, or altered items are not eligible for return or refund unless deemed defective by MNASE staff.

4. Program or Event Cancellations by MNASE

In the rare case that MNASE cancels a program, camp, league, or event:

• Members will be offered the choice of:

  • A full 100% refund, OR

  • A 100% credit toward any future MNASE program, event, or activity.

MNASE will notify all registered participants promptly of any cancellations and provide clear instructions for receiving refunds or credits.

5. General Refund & Exchange Conditions

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval.

• Credits will be applied directly to the member’s MNASE account and can be redeemed toward any eligible future program, event, or purchase.

• Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

• Processing fees (if applicable) may not be refundable.

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

In an emergency, I authorize MNASE staff or medical personnel to provide medical treatment. I am responsible for all medical costs incurred.

4. Compliance & Responsibility

I agree to follow MNASE rules, instructions from staff, and act responsibly. I acknowledge responsibility for personal property and equipment.

5. Consent for Minors

If participant is under 18, parent/guardian consent is provided automatically from registration.

6. Photo & Video Release

I grant MNASE Basketball permission to capture images/videos of me (or my child) during programs/events. MNASE may use these for marketing, social media, newsletters, educational materials, and archives. This release is perpetual unless revoked in writing 30 days prior to use. Revocation does not affect previously produced materials.

7. Acknowledgment of Policies

By registering, I agree to MNASE’s Terms of Service, Refund/Return Policies, and Code of Conduct.

8. Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in effect.

9. Governing Law

Minnesota law governs this agreement.
